On the Importance of Water

Hydration is important to all of us, but it becomes crucial during chemo.

I got myself dehydrated over the past couple of weeks and have been suffering in a multitude of ways.

Why? Why do I ignore something as simple as drinking water, when it makes such a drastic difference in my mental and physical well-being? I don’t know why.

But yesterday I drank about a gallon of water over the course of the afternoon and evening. Today I feel, if not magnificent, then certainly worlds better. I’m back on a regimen of 16 glasses of water daily.

For you non-cancerous folks out there: drink early! Drink often! Do not underestimate the importance of sufficient hydration to your daily health.
